This Advent calendar is designed to help you count down the days of Advent with a daily scripture reading to focus your heart and mind on The Reason for Advent: Jesus Christ our promised Messiah and Savior.

The first week focuses on the message of hope, the second week focuses on preparation, the third on joy, and the final (partial) week focuses on love.

This year, Advent begins on December 2nd, 2018. The calendar carries scripture through December 25th.

For a new twist on a traditional Advent calendar, check out the Advent Experience Bingo Kit, an experience-based bingo game instead of daily treats or activities planned for the day. Use the bingo card to choose activities and experiences, mark them off as you go. Try to complete a “Total Bingo Blackout” before Christmas. Have fun celebrating Advent together as a family!
