Another day where I wasn’t able to fit my exercise in as easily as I liked, but I pushed through and made it happen anyway. In other words, I stayed up reeeeally late. I’m tempted to relay the (now) humorous conversation I had with my husband as he was going to bed and he didn’t quite get why I was needing to stay up. This isn’t the first time either. Really? Forgetting his own challenge to me. Now THAT’s forgetful. But we know he’s forgetful and we love him (LOTS!) anyway.

And here’s the rundown for Day 13:

Activity: The 30 Day Shred Level 1
Activity Length: 20/25 minutes
Difficulty: I made it through the entire 2nd circuit without catching  my breath or modifying anything! I made it through all of the 3rd circuit, too, except for the bicycle crunches at the end. I did 25 of those and then about 5 more of regular crunches before she called “stop.” I’m nearly there. The 1st circuit though – dang! It’s still the hardest one for me. I’ve also noticed the chest flys and dumbell rows aren’t really that difficult so I think I need to switch up to heavier weights for those.
How I feel: Tired but pumped. Even though it was late, I surfed the net for an additional 20 minutes to calm down and get to sleep.
Tomorrow: The 30 Day Shred – of course!

If you’re just now finding this challenge, start here.

Hey, y’all! I’m Amber and I wear many hats. I drink a ton of coffee and I’m constantly sweeping crumbs off the floor. After 18 years of homeschooling, I’m getting close to graduating my third child and now we are starting over at preschool with our fourth, Lil Miss Mouse. She keeps us young and she’s the main reason for my excessive coffee consumption. Drink up!
