We survived Day 4 fellow exercisers! I don’t know about you but I really didn’t feel like working out today. I did it anyway (I have too big of a competitive streak not to. Not against you, though,.. against myself.. and because my husband doesn’t think I will finish this!)

So here’s the rundown for Day 4:

Activity: Yoga
Activity Length: 30 minutes
Difficulty: Some things were easier, I think I had a little more flexibility with some of the poses, etc. Other things that I could do on the first day (without sore muscles) such as a move resembling a push-up I found very difficult to do with my “weak and wobbly from all this exercise” ab muscles. I pushed through though – yeah!
How I feel: I feel like I’m getting stronger. Another advantage to doing a little bit of yoga before beginning the tough-as-nails cardio workout. I’m loosening and strengthening my body with these yoga workouts first. Perhaps that will help? Or is that wishful thinking? =P
Tomorrow: I promised you I shall begin The Thirty Day Shred tomorrow, and so I shall!

Remember that whining I was doing yesterday about standing on the scale this Friday? This morning I stood on it, just to see.. and what do you think I found when I did? My scale was off by 3 pounds! I don’t know if it was like that when I first weighed in or not.. but I fixed it and now zero is zero. I guess I get a three pound advantage at the first weigh in. ; ) Oops!

Well, what are you going to do with today? Don’t forget to drink lots of water and fuel your body with some good healthy foods, too!

If you’re just now finding this challenge, start here.

Hey, y’all! I’m Amber and I wear many hats. I drink a ton of coffee and I’m constantly sweeping crumbs off the floor. After 18 years of homeschooling, I’m getting close to graduating my third child and now we are starting over at preschool with our fourth, Lil Miss Mouse. She keeps us young and she’s the main reason for my excessive coffee consumption. Drink up!
