So the tree is down and the ornaments are packed away. As I packed them up (organized by color, ahem) I counted and tallied and added and figured up the grand total.

You could almost sing this to the tune of “12 Days of Christmas”:

  • 37 clear
  • 31 silver
  • 31 gold
  • 29 red
  • 20 paper (including the adornaments)
  • 17 blue
  • 14 white
  • 11 purple
  • 10 pink
  • 9 wood
  • 6 green
  • 4 multi-colored (nativity scenes)
  • and 2 porcelain ballerinas (Christmas Eve gifts from a close friend for the girls – couldn’t NOT let them hang them!)

THE WINNER: Jodi @ My Life As Mama Jodi who guessed 215!!

Oddly enough, Jodi had the highest guess – NOBODY guessed over!

Clearly, y’all underestimate my love for Christmas ornaments. And that’s NOT including the ornaments tucked inside my garland on the piano or the basket of ornaments serving as a centerpiece on my dining table. 😉

Congrats, Jodi, I’ll be contacting you about your Sonic giftcard! Thanks to everybody else for helping me get my tree taken down with a little bit of fun.

Hey, y’all! I'm Amber, and I wear many hats: Pastor's wife, marriage advocate, eclectic homeschooler, mother of three, and domestically challenged homemaker--lovin’ life and livin’ deep in the heart of Texas.
I love to write and I hope to use that wisely, to encourage others, and for God’s glory. I seek purpose in the mundane. I want my kids to see God’s fingerprints throughout all of creation, learning, and life. As I teach our children, God is teaching me through this homeschool journey, too. I love Jesus, family, coffee, words, and the color teal.
