Y’all wanna know something incredible?? I don’t have to go grocery shopping this week!! Not really. Today I got milk and some more fresh fruit, but last week I bought this variety box of meat for $20.00 and some extra veggies so I’m all set. The really cool thing is I only spent about 20 dollars more than normal, but it’s stretching farther. That’s always exciting. 🙂

Here’s my menu for this week:

Monday: Eggs, Turkey Bacon, Cantaloupe; Tuna Salad, Celery Sticks; Orange Wedges, Rice Cakes; BBQ Smoked Sausage, Veggies, Rice

Tuesday: French Toast, Turkey Bacon, Bananas; Turkey Sandwiches, Chips, Veggies; 100 Cal Snack Pack, Apple Slices; Chili & Cornbread

Wednesday: Cereal, Bananas; Grilled Chicken Salad; Fruit Cocktail, Yogurt; Pork Chops, Veggies, Rice

Thursday: Oatmeal, Oranges; Turkey Sandwiches, Veggies, Ranch; Rice Cakes, Yogurt; Spaghetti, Salad

Friday: Cereal, Apples; Mock Chicken Noodle Soup; 100 Calorie Snack Packs, Orange Wedges; eat out before the show

Saturday: Biscuits, Gravy, Turkey Bacon, Fruit, Eggs; Lunch at Cast Party; Enchiladas, Spanish Rice, Guacamole, Pico De Gallo

My parents will be here with us Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. Saturday before the show we’re having a big dinner – hence all the glorious spanish food and fixins for supper Saturday. YUM-O!

Hey, y’all! I'm Amber, and I wear many hats: Pastor's wife, marriage advocate, eclectic homeschooler, mother of three, and domestically challenged homemaker--lovin’ life and livin’ deep in the heart of Texas.
I love to write and I hope to use that wisely, to encourage others, and for God’s glory. I seek purpose in the mundane. I want my kids to see God’s fingerprints throughout all of creation, learning, and life. As I teach our children, God is teaching me through this homeschool journey, too. I love Jesus, family, coffee, words, and the color teal.
