WFMW - Cold can of soda in two minutes flat.
Come on in. The Classic Housewife is currently undergoing some back end changes. In the meantime I'm re-posting some oldies and goodies. You may also want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
This really works. You may be skeptical. Heck, I was too.
- Take one unrefrigerated can of soda.
- Set a timer for two minutes.
- Lay the can of soda in a drawer, bin, bag, or pile of ice and push it down till it’s at least half covered.
- Spin it (but not too fast) until the timer goes off.
I’m not kidding. It really works.
The ice chills the can and the spinning works around the liquid inside so that it chills faster than if it was just sitting in the fridge or freezer waiting for the cold to seep all the way in.
Love it.
If you want it super cold, add another minute. But two minutes will make it cold enough when you forgot to put a can in the fridge.
Aren’t you glad you know that now??

Hola from my corner of the internet! I haven’t been very enthusiastic about menu planning for a few weeks but I’m back on the bandwagon now!
