Poll for my Blog Subscribers – New feed options?

Poll for my blog subscribers.. I’m currently researching new options for delivering feeds. I need your feedback. How important is offering an email subscription? Do you prefer reading in an RSS reader? (Or do you go straight to the blog and use neither..) How will you feel if I nicely ask you to resubscribe again if I switch services?

(Please don’t throw tomatoes! I will research well before making any decisions.)
